Crib

As promised, here are some pictures of our new home! It might look Better-Homes-And-Gardens-sy, but it's all the effect of lighting and shooting angle. (I was trying to be a photographer here! Haha.)
My dad and my brothers did a great job moving furniture around. Since this is America, there aren't any kanto boys or sarge to ask help from. We had to do things on our own that even I was not spared from lifting the sofa and hardwood cabinets! But we managed, despite broken speakers, scratched walls and injured toenails.
What I love most about moving into a new place is being able to decorate. Interior design has always been the essence of my existence, though I can't imagine why I chose to pursue Biology in college. I just love the entire creative process of it that I once gave our previous house a facelift while my parents were away for 4 months! They were thrilled, sort of.
So we did a little decorating for this house and effect was awesome. We added vases with flowers and lamps with soft light and carpets and baskets and frames and side tables and it's just wonderful how everthing was pulled together. I love staying at home even more.
Anyway, ours wouldn't have been a home if not for the generosity of our friends, titos, titas and neighbors. They gave us every imaginable object in our house today that it would be like walking into a museum whose collections could be traced back from where they came from.
The Veloria family would like to thank you so much, especially the Umali family, for breathing life into our little space...from the deepest recesses of our hearts.
